About Me
Hey! I'm Shlok Gilda
I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Florida in 2026, where I was part of the Natural Language Processing & Culture (NLP&C) Lab, advised by Dr. Bonnie Dorr. I was also affiliated with the Florida Institute for Cybersecurity Research (FICS) Lab. My dissertation, “How Communication Dynamics Shape Vulnerability Management in Open-Source Software”, examined how communication dynamics in open-source repositories influence their security posture. My research interests include Open-Source Software Supply Chain Security, Misinformation Analysis, Natural Language Processing, and Artificial Intelligence.
I received my Master's in Computer Science from the University of Florida in 2022, advised by Dr. Daniela Oliveira, and my Bachelor's in Computer Engineering (Distinction with Honors) from the University of Pune in 2018, where I was advised by Dr. Geetanjali Kale and late Mr. Parag Gokhale from IBM India Software Labs.
